I have lost weight, and gained it. I was always the last to finish the mile in PE as a kid. I hated running and swore to only do it if something was chasing me. Then someone put a bug in my ear. I tried it on my terms and discovered I loved the freedom of strapping on a pair of shoes, getting dropped off 24 miles from home and having only my will and strength to get myself home. Now, I am a runner.

I am starting a very beginning 5k training program and having quit them in the past I am just hoping to complete this program. Any advice is appreciated!

Hahah, thanks for the goodie. I'll probably stick with the treadmill. I'm afraid I would need to drastically alter the kitchen to fit in an indoor track.
