Yes, I do plan to keep going with the Lopers. I was just looking at hotels for the San Diego Half in June. I will miss you during your recovery.
I would love to be a co-leader, but my only problem with it would be getting up into the higher mileage. I can do the 13 minute pace up to the 13.1 mile, but not sure about attempting to go that fast for the 26.2. The first year I did the Lopers I was in the 13 minute group, but ended up with a knee problem in the higher miles.
Just got your sparkmail... thought I'd come here and say thank you for reading my blog and keeping in touch. Are you planning on continuing running w/Lopers? I won't be able to run for over a year but I'm going to help with the pace groups... I was wondering if you'd be interested in co-leading one of the pace groups? Maybe the 13 minute group?
I'm so sorry you are having the ankle problem. I hope you are better today. I couldn't find Sol, but you said he didn't have anything on there anyways. I thought it would say something about his biggest loser program. Sounds interesting.
