Velma, I wanted to apologize for not being able to remain in continuous contact since the Christmas holidays. I have been on and off this site since the holiday due to illnesses with my grandbaby, sons and myself.

On February 2nd, I wrote a blog on behalf of my grandson. Without realizing it, my 1-year old grandson, Armonee, has had RSV since the Christmas holidays. My daughter and I were taking Armonee back and forth to his pediatrician because his symptoms were getting slightly worse each time. Even though my grandson was born premature he didn't have any of the complications with his lungs or breathing problems that are associated with prematurity. Therefore, the pediatrician didn't suspect RSV. On January 28th, he was diagnosed with RSV and admitted to the hospital in the pediatric unit. On February 3rd, my grandson was finally discharged from the hopsital but had to be continually monitored throughout the weekend until his follow-up visit on Monday, February 6th that turned out wonderful.

In the meantime, throughout the month of January, my sons and I got very sick with viral infections that lasted for a week at a time and the doctor's were trying to avoid us from catching pneumonia by taking antibiotics for 10-day segments. We were constantly passing it back and forth to one another. At times, I still get worn out and need to rest.

Because I am a widowed mom, I am very busy raising (2) teenaged sons on my own and have been helping my daughter out since my grandson's illness arose. It is just this week that I have been trying to catch with my spark friends, but it will take some time visiting each sparkpage.

I am hoping that you have not thought that I have forgotten about you in any way. I wanted to let you know the situation that my family and I have been through since the holidays and to please have patience that I will be visiting your sparkpage as soon as I can. Thank you so much for not dropping me from your circle of friends list, giving up on me or thinking that I was not interested in our friendship. It because of your friendship that held me together throughout these difficult months. Thank you so much for your gift of friendship and hanging in there with me.

Always remember, I am right by your side, cheering you all the way. TOGETHER, We CAN Turn Our Goals Into Extraordinary Results! With gratitude and hugs to you always. Have a wonderful day.

Thank you for the add! Sorry I must have missed it! Thank you for your kind words. I look forward to getting to know you.

I am going to attempt a healthy thanksgiving, but I live in a house of critics. Slowly they are seeing the light though!

I hope you have a wonderful holiday!
