I'm here for permanent changes!

I'm learning. I've been back and forth at Spark, and I am better prepared for success now. I've had good results and slacked off, given in to emotional eating too many times, and tried to do this alone. Now I am ready to make it work for me. There is nothing wrong with SparkPeople! It's always been me, not wanting to eat my veggies, not wanting to go outside and walk, not wanting to dance, and wanting, far too often, to be alone. These are not working for me, so I'm back and ready to do ...

Thinking of you Hopeful Heart Teammate and wishing you the best in all that comes your way this year. Some will be good and some may stressful. When stress does come your way I want to share something that may help for it has me.I have been studying much this week over and over from Psalms 46:1-8 how deeply God cares for the deep needs that we have. Sometimes unforeseen circumstances, troubles and trials bring us discouragement and despair. The Psalmist identifies these to the upheavals in nature in verses 2-3, but He shows us his fearless trust in 2a and the reason why he has such trust in verse 1. God is our refuge, our strength, and our present help in time of trouble. He is the one we can run to 24/7. He cares and has the power to help, strengthen us in all our trials, trouble, distractions, and makes it where we can lean on him and relax as he is in control.
