I have been following a gluten free diet for about 3 weeks now and although I haven't lost any weight yet, I feel better than I have in 3 years. No more urgent runs to the bathroom or horrible stomach aches. I am going to talk to my doctor about it next week at my yearly appointment, but regardless of what she suggests, I am going to stick to this diet!

My Goals:
Vision = To feel comfortable in my clothes and like what I see in the mirror.

Plan = Sparkpeople.
1. Track foods.
2. Eat healthy foods.
3. Exercise, at least 3 days/week.
4. Drink more water/tea.

Timeline = ??

Action Plan = Stay within my daily guidelines and exercise at least 3 times a week.

Motivation = Peace of mind, better health, more energy.

Personal Information:
I am a 37 year old music teacher/performer from Southeastern Ohio, originally from West Virginia. GO WVU!!! I am married to my college sweetheart w/ one child - a sweet, little girl born 8-19-09. We have three great cats that we saved from a shelter - Tippy, Nibbler and Stripes. I have always had a body image issue and slight weight problem. I have done pretty good keeping it under control, but since I turned 30, I have had some major issues with both. And now I have the baby weight to lose. I am hoping this site will help keep me motivated!! So far, it's great!!!

Other Information:
The biggest influence in my life is the love of God! No matter how far I roam, I know that I always have a home in his heart! Music is the most constant thing in my life - everything revolves around it including my career and both my spiritual and personal life. My hobbies are sewing, crocheting, and scrapbooking. I love the beach and the outdoors.
