I am starting over again from the beginning. I am trying not to think of failure but of just not giving up. I do believe I have not failed until I have given up.
I have good reasons to be healthy and it starts with ME! I want to feel better and look better and be able to enjoy shopping for new clothes.
I have a wonderful supportive husband and family. I am ever grateful for a family who always wants the best for me!

My Goals:
To feel better and be able to look into the mirror and be happy with myself. To have more energy and feel like I am not the fattest girl in the room. To buy clothes in the regular clothes, not the big woman sizes.

My Program:
 I love to be able to read the posts and see what others are doing and be able to share my goals and experiences.
I read the articles that help me to stick with it.

Personal Information:
I am 52 years young and have 4 children and 9 grandchildren. I have been married to my sweetheart for 33 years! I love living in Texas!

Other Information:
 I love scary movies and am way into ghosts and the paranormal.
I love reading western romance books and I also enjoy watching old Bette Davis or Joan Crawford movies.

Hey Laurie so happy to hear from you. Im not on here as much as I used to be either and am hoping everything is still great in your world. Bet you have been enjoying being back in the ole homestead. :)

Just got back from my quarterly doc check and everything is fine and dandy, he is delighted with me and all the numbers are good. So pleased with this myself -way of eating has got me off most of my meds. Such good news.

But first, I am so happy for you that you and Kevin are back in the home you built! That is a world away from when I drifted away from spark! You sound so upbeat, and your working situation is so much more stable -- i am thrilled for you." Friendships are never forgotten" -- what a beautiful expression. I just found the spark mail clicker and it was right there in past years, I recall, i just missed it this time while searching.

Thanks for the message, and the purse, Laurie! I guess we're coming back together and your success will spur me on. I have not been successful at keeping off what I had lost, but I'm motivated to get going again because of my blood glucose levels. A higher than normal reading makes me want to quickly get back on track so I will not eventually be labeled a diabetic.

My coming back is a little scary because they have changed so much of spark. If I had stayed with it, I could have understood the changes as they came about. As it is now, I'm looking all over for things that have vanished or which have been redesigned or have been moved somewhere else. Well, I know I will get the hang of it. For instance, I wanted to write you a message, not a comment, but I can't find where the messages are now

Hi Laurie, I have thought of you often during the last two years -- mostly when I would get on the scale, see a gain, know I need to get back to sparkpeople. OK, I'm here. I hope you are still here or feel like coming back, and I hope the past 2 years have been kind to you.
