My name is Laurie. I am mom to 3 beautiful girls and wife of 20+ years to an amazing guy.
In June 2011 I was feeling amazing, my weight was down, I was exercising and fit. But I let myself get caught up in the numbers on the scale and slowly my weight began to creep up. I lost sight of the healthy path I was taking and became fixated on the numbers. I took quite the detour.
My mom got sick in January 2013 and died in April and my world changed. The past year has been one of self reflection, spiritual growth, and dedication to re-engage in my family and the world around me. Time is short and the journey is amazing. It is time to get on the path to a healthier me. For me, for my family, for life.
