I read the book...it has many good points....I am going to think about it. My sister did a version of this diet and was successful with a 50+ pound weight loss but alas she was unable to maintain it. I lost all my weight (107lbs.) with the low fat diet, again it worked well but my problem is maintaining the weight loss. Since I went through menopause (thanks to chemo) I am finding myself unable to lose weight this way (low fat). I have gained 40 pounds but only need to lose 20+ pounds to get to a healthy weight. I can go 4-5 days eating "healthy"then bam off the wagon I go....repeat....driving me nuts! I am not lazy....exercise is a passion of mine...I have a active job so I am not sedentary in my lifestyle...this whole "diet" thing tends to make me feel crazy!!!!
