Thanks for your great response on my blog. And you do see 12 Step thinking -- 12 Step programs saved my life! If it wasn't for them I'd still be running around trying to figure out why my life was such a mess. And ... once I did a 5th Step on being a time debtor ... and the person I gave it to said, you have a lot of ADD issues. WHAT! ?!?!? I started exploring the possibility, reading, went to local CHADD meetings ... and sure enough ... But I don't think I would have even been able to "hear" being told that I'm ADD if I hadn't spent those years before in 12 Step Programs, learning to look at my part in various situations. 12 Step Programs taught me how to live, & I wish everyone would have to go to them & get those same instructions -- the world would be a better place!

Thank you for reading my blog! I was a caregiver at one time and it was very difficult not to overeat because of emotions. Sparkmail me sometime if you want a few tips.

I have recently been following your message posts on the thread called chat the day away. I can see why you are having some unhappy days. As a retired RN, I think you are making the right choice to transfer Allan to a skilled nursing facility. I would guess that you are experiencing grief over the loss of your previous care-giving relationship. It might be helpful to make an appointment with a counselor to help ease you through this transition. Anyway, I'm sending you healing thoughts and energy across the Internet. You are loved.
