If I'd been sticking to my 'lifestyle' change since joining Sparkpeople, I'd be at goal.

I started running so I could participate in the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure. Every time I want to stop, I remember all those who can't run and how lucky I am to be so healthy. The only race I run that DOESN'T benefit someone else is the Warrior Dash. I run that one to benefit me. I like how with running, my only other true competitor is me. It is important to have a treat at times. I would be horrible to live with if I didn't cheat occassionally! LOL

Have a great Monday!!

We all had to start from somewhere! It doesn't matter the speed, it's more the fact that you are doing it!

Enjoy your Friday!

That would be really cool to run with you!

We are already setting up for the Mother's Day run. If you are interested, let me know. It is held at Corp. Woods in May. It's a fun run also. Gives you about 3 months to train. No Pressure!! LOL

Enjoy your day!

I wasn't running for time. I ran for support for my coworkers. I also had my own little challenge going by running the 5k and 10k back to back.

I did well with both races, but would rather run straight then have a 30 minute break in between. Legs stiffened up more then I thought they would even though I was moving still.

Thanks for asking!! Have a great day!
