This site is like anything else in life...it just takes time. I too an a "newb" and I am finding more and more every day.
I suggest making sure to use the nutrition tracker and exercise tracker on your main page most importantly, secondary I like to write blogs, it keeps me accountable and it helps putting down how your journey is going that day.
I also suggest reading some of the relevant articles to you and your situation and joining a few different sparkteams, and joining in the conversations. Obviously you have done well already by choosing the over 30's one ;)
