Time to change!

I was journaling about my weight history and decided it is time to change. I want to take off the pounds and leave them off. I am about 100 lbs. overweight. My short term goal is 20# off by May 1.
About me - I am widowed, have 5 adult children, 4 adult grandchildren and one 9 year old grandson who lives with me at times. I have a 12 year old dog who is my best friend. I have been in Al-Anon for over 20 years and that is my social life. I also take care of my 96 year old father.

My Goals:
My short term goal is to lose 20# by May 1st. The long term goal is to lose about 80# all together. I want to be able to go for long walks like I used to without my feet and knees hurting.
I want to be happy or at least content!

My Program:
I am eating a healthy breakfast, including fruit and vegetables. I am avoiding fast food places. I am getting 8 hours of sleep a night. I am striving to drink the 8 glasses of water per day. I am using the Spark recipes often. I am tracking what I eat and making sure it's healthy.

Personal Information:
I am a nice, chubby, old woman. That about covers it.

Other Information:
Learning to dance in the rain.

Thanks for the goody. I just started back doing yoga today.I had been trying to do it in my bed room but that dident work out,not enough room.I,m starting slow why don,t you join me. kay emoticon

We have FLYlady team in common, I just recently learned about FLYlady and I am a brand new FLYbaby, but very excited to put the principles into practice.
