This is so true! How many of you have done WW or Jenny or any of those Low Fat, Low Calorie diets just to balloon up again? This is the exact reason I'm going primal. Conventional, western diets don't work long term!

I'm getting married June 14, 2010 and I refuse to sit around any longer, getting fatter and fatter when I have a size 6 wedding dress I have my eye on. I am following the Primal Blueprint (

Also, I want to lose weight to get rid of my sleep apnea.

I'm going to post only primal friendly recipes that I'm taking from the ones I've also posted to my recipezaar account.

Want to know how I gained all my weight? Going to school in the grain belt with no access to organic foods and had to live on disgusting, processed dorm food.

After I finish losing my weight, I want to go back to school for nutritional science - because I love cooking and biology and I am completely against this low fat, cardio extravaganza that is touted by all these experts - and of course, as many of you know, does not work long term. Check it out:

My Goals:
I want to get healthy and lose 75 lbs of body fat while toning up before this year is over. I'm going to be getting married and I want to fit into my dream dress as well as not look fat in my honeymoon pictures when we jet off to Greece!

My Program:
I'm following the Primal Blueprint by Mark Scisson

The Primal Blueprint consists of:

- High Protein
- High healthy fats (like animal fat and olive oil)
- Copious amounts of veggies
- Some fruit
- No grains (corn, wheat, etc)
- Get moving!

    The day wasn't terrible, but it could have been better. I did horribly when it came to dinner and had two slices of pizza and a beer. Eek! And I doing so well, too. I made it up with some exercise, but I still think I could have done things a little differently. But mustn't dwell. As for logging your exercise, why not try estimating (but on the average end) so you can at least get a general idea of how you're doing. Being active is what's most important! I hope today is a good day!
