I FOUND MY "INNER ATHLETE"!

I joined SP in September 2008 (148 lbs), and lost 24 lbs in 15 months which was 6 lbs more than my original goal weight of 130 lbs. My lowest weight in 15 years came last summer while training for my first triathlon at 117, which might have been too low. Currently, I weight 126, I think a happy medium would be around 120.

If I can find my "INNER ATHLETE", so can YOU!

What have I learned...? Nutrition is as IMPORTANT as excerise. Finding friends that support your journey is PRICELESS.

In April 2006, I ran my first half marathon in 2:57 (13:30 pace); in December 2010, I ran my 6th half marathon in 2:02:25 (9:20 pace). HARD WORK and CONSISTENCY pays off!

2010 was an AMAZING year, and at 43 years old, my best yet!! I learned how to swim and became a TRIATHLETE! The journey was profound!

1. Encourage and inspire others to find their inner athlete.
2. Become a stronger swimmer, so I can one day do an OWS tri.
3. Seriously work on my cycling.
4. Add more strength training and yoga.
5. Improve on my overall Tour De Kirkwood time.

Once a month, I meet with my personal trainer, Donna Froneyberger at 24 Hour Fitness and she keeps me honest, on my weight and measurements, she gives me a strength training plan that I use for a month.

Grew up in Ozark, Missouri and moved to St. Louis, Missouri in 2002.

In 2006, I ran my first half marathon and in 2010, I became a triathlete.

hey! I went to the meeting for the Tri club, and I get home and COMPLETELY forgot to look for you. I think I was overwhelmed w/ all the information, people,a nd what the heck I was suppose to be doing (and how to get started w/ the club)
Anyway, were you there?
I still need to sign up, but I think there is a mentor meet up on monday that I hope to go to!
Anyway, I hope to be seeing you around !

HEY!! I just figured you were super busy. I actually went to the website. Then again. and again. I REALLY want to learn more, so I emailed the group and got a hold of Tara (?) and she told me about the meeting. And I will be there!! I'm trying to get my brother to go w/ me.
I Am really excited! Thanks for getting back to me.
Will you be at the march meeting? How many people are usually at the groups?

Oh, I love the 100 day push ups challenge. I love your daily doable challenges! I've been doing 100 daily sit ups and 1 minute planks in addition to weights now. It's fun to have these daily challenges! I know what you mean, I forgot my 100 sit ups one night and had to do them in bed too! I facebook friend-ed you. I'm Tasha Witt.
