A New Beginning

I joined this site a while ago but haven't been consistent with it or my weight loss journey. I have just gotten to the point where I'm fed up with the way I look and I need to do something about it. I�ve been going to the gym regularly since August 2011, but I have recently deleted my membership because it was just getting to be too expensive.... I'm currently in the process of researching home workout systems (Turbofire, Chalean Extreme, The Firm, etc). Also, I�m a college student so ...

I'm currently in the process of researching home workout systems (Turbofire, Chalean Extreme, The Firm, etc). Also, I�m a college student so it�s very hard to stay on a healthy diet, but I�m working to change that. I hope that I will finally get the chance to lose the weight, and get down to a comfortable size.

I don't know if you ever did Turbo Jam or not, but the choreography is similar (but much slower) and I was pretty used to that when I started Turbo Fire. I also like Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred. The 30 Day Shred DVD only cost $8 and I actually like it more for toning than the Turbo Fire ones (even though I still have never done level 3). I sold a lot of my DVDs a while back (I was broke) so I don't have as many as I used to. Cathe Friedrich has some good ones. There are also fitness vids here on SP and on Hulu and Netflix. Netflix Instant has several 10 minute solution workouts. I've just done the kickboxing one, but I like it if I want to switch things up. I think it doesn't matter so much what you do as long as you find something you like enough to do consistently.
