It's time to take control of my life

I have been married since May 3rd 2009, and found myself slowly gaining weight and up to the most I have ever weighed. Since my husband and I want to have a family in the future, I think it is important to get to a healthy weight before getting pregnant. I want to be the healthiest mom I can be, and what better time to start.

My Goals:
Get healthy! I would like to lose 25-40 lbs, basically turn this flab into muscle. Wanting increased energy and endurance. Get my body ready for a little bundle of joy too!

My Program:
Tracking my calories, portion control. More fruits and vegs. Exercise 3-4 times a week, both cardio and strength training.

Personal Information:
I live in Daphne, AL and love to paint, draw, play piano, walk my doggies, go kayaking, or just stay home and watch a movie. LOVE sushi.

Here are some tips to help you reach your goals:

I have been sparking for about 20 months. It helps me see what I am doing right and wrong by using the trackers. I set small goals, about 5 pounds at a time. Then I regroup on my exercise as I usually hit a plateau every five pounds. I had been swimming and very little walking. so, I walked today and yesterday.
