Time to Start Over Again!!

Hi my name is LaDelle, I am a wife of a wonderful man for 28 years..a grandma of 6 and I just love this saying :

We do not stop exercising because we grow old, we grow old because we stop exercising!!!!

This is so true at the age of 47 this is such a good reminder why I love to workout hard and workout smart!! I love kickboxing ,step benching ,weight training , power yoga, rebounding, kettlebells and HIIT and eating clean!!

Hi LaDelle! Good to see you back! I haven't been around much as things have been crazy busy on my end too but hoping to change it or at least manage it better. Sorry to hear about the shoulder - that is definitely painful! Hope it gets better soon.

I haven't worked out for almost two weeks because things were just so crazy and I had no energy. I started back today and am determined to stay on track with my workouts no matter what. I'm resuming my PiYo rotation (two weeks in). I did the Buns workout - love it but not exercising for so many days, it was harder than it should have been. I also added on two tabata workouts that were bonus workouts on Cathe's CrossFire and To The Max workouts. They were short but tough! I can always do workouts like those ones when I'm short on time - I can always find 5 minutes!

Hey LaDelle, thanks for stopping by. Sorry to hear about your shoulder, I hope it is much better now... but at least you were able to get in some quality workouts!!!! emoticon

I am happy that you you have been busy with your garden and family... although tiring, is a beautiful thing. You are so blessed to have your mom and family around you.

Regarding Piyo, it's ok... the many poses that use the upper body have been bothering my arms and shoulders, so I have discontinued some of the workouts in the set. I will keep it and do the lower body / interval workouts. If I do any of the upper body workout, mainly on the first disk, I will only to it once a week and supplement upper body workouts with conventional ST using dumbbells, etc.

Well, I have spareribs marinating in the fridge and will cook later on... I still have to mop and and wash some clothes by hand because my washer went out on me. A technician from Sears will come out to fix it Friday, at least I hope it can be fixed, if not I will have to buy another one! I will keep you posted.

hey i get the elliptical in and 10.000 steps in but thats it..I haven't been good at the strength training

I am soooo tiered...I moved a piano at 8:00am in the morning...then went to a movie.... emoticon

My goodness living right beside you, like you said that can be good and bad at the same time.
I did Turbo Fire with PiYo but like you said
it is not enough strength training, so i am starting PiYo on Monday again and that is a good idea to do CLX with it!
I will figure something out, but i really did think Piyo would be more challenging, It is a good stretch with a twist (LOL)
