Hi, LaDelle! I think a lot of us have stepped away for awhile. I took a whole year off. I came back in earnest at the end of September. So far so good. (Even better actually). I hope you reach your goals on Sparkpeople and in life!
It's just the idea that if any part of the back doesn't feel right, I know from lots of experience, that even light weights can make it worse. That's why I'm working on walking and stretch band for upper body as I can, I figure it'll get it stronger and then I can get doing more. :) 72 days ago
I'd like to add strength training too, but am waiting for my body to be okay with it. Too often it's been going out of alignment and that isn't comfortable. I've been able to do some stretch band things at times. 73 days ago
My favorite way to work out this time around is just plain old hiking. It's doing the job. Before, I did like three hours of zumba a day to get the weight off. I'm so glad that this plan is working so well. It takes a lot of pressure off. 74 days ago
