LAL - get healthy

Greetings...

Just starting out here and looking to see what's available. I'm looking at the big 4-0 approaching. The past couple of years have added a few pounds too much and it's time to do something about it.

My biggest obstacle? I'm a picky eater. I don't eat vegetables except for corn and potatoes, the starches. This rules out ANY diet I've ever seen.

Hi I just wanted to welcome you to Charmed Swappers we quilt. It is a great group. I just love it. I am a BIG quilter, I work on something at least everyday, lol. I am going on a quilting cruise I got to quilting events all the time a belong to a couple of different guilds.

Diet is all about lifestyle changes. Every one has a DIET, it's simply what you put in your body on a day to day basis. There are several cook books out now that you can use to get more varied veggies and fruits into your diet and not even know it. one is Deceptively Delicious. Don't remember the author, but keard it's a fantastic cook book.

I love Sparkpeople and have signed in every day for the past 103 days, but I just wanted to say that I got a lot from reading DR. PHIL's weight loss book, because he deals with feelings and emotions. If you haven't read it, I recommend it. It is available on CD if you just have time to listen to it.

Being fat is hard.
