Boy has it been a journey!! I started out at 218 in February 2014, got down to 162.5 October 2014, gained back 30 in 2015 and even more by September 2015. I was weighing in around 196. During that year, my husband had a stroke and I became a grandmother the end of the year.

So in September 2015 I got tired of being tired again, I started back on my healthy eating ...

Boy has it been a journey!! I started out at 218 in February 2014, got down to 162.5 October 2014, gained back 30 in 2015 and even more by September 2015. I was weighing in around 196. During that year, my husband had a stroke and I became a grandmother the end of the year.

So in September 2015 I got tired of being tired again, I started back on my healthy eating and exercise and I got down to 175.7 by January 1st 2016!! I was on the ball!!

As of 1/23/2016 I am 170.6 pounds! My goal is to reach 150 by May 31st, 2016 and for fun, see how close I can get to 135 by December 31st!! I know I can do it because I've come too far to turn around. And with all of my great friends out on Sparkpeople, MFP and Facebook, I will reach my goals!!!

I went Vegetarian/Vegan back in 2012, shed 35 pounds and gained most of it back when I fell off the wagon in 2013. As of February 1, 2014 I am 215 pounds and want to lose 65 pounds by years end.

Update--5/15/2015

Since October where I had gotten as low as 162, I have since gained back about 20 pounds give or take. I got lazy towards the first of the year and then in March, my husband suffered several small strokes and his been between hospitals and rehab facilities. This is no excuse, but It gave me a reason not to exercise. Well, as of this week I am back and it's kicking my butt!! LOL It's like starting all over again! But if I did it once, I can do it AGAIN!!

This time I joined WW for the added support (actually, it was by accident {See my blog}) so I'm dedicated and excited to see how much I lose in 3 months while on the program. My ultimate goal is to had shed 20 pounds by August. 5 pounds lost a month is more realistic than 10 or 15. And my prayer by years end is to have reached my 1st goal of reaching 150 pounds. By next year, I would like to reach my ultimate goal of my healthy BMI weight of 140 pounds. I know I can do it....and I WILL....LaLa WILL LOSE!!

To date, I am now 166 lbs, 52 pounds lost, 16 more pounds to go.

UPDATE: JANUARY 1, 2015

Well, I'm back up to 172.8
During my weight loss journey last year, I got a little comfortable the last few months. Started eating poorly, wasn't regulary exercising, and before you know it, BAM! I was up 10 pounds from October!! It was a scary and awakening experience!! If I shot up 10 pounds in a few months, how quickly would I gain all of the weight I lost the past year!!! VERY QUICKLY!! So now, I'm currently on BeachBody's 21-Day Fix program and I'm determined to see it through! This will be my 3rd time doing it, but this will be the FIRST time I saw it all the way through with the correct eating. I know I can do this. In the end, it's all mind over matter!!

I since changed my goal of 150 pounds from December 31, 2014 to March 31, 2015. I know I can do this!!

My ultimate goal will be to reach my healthy BMI weight of 135 by September 2015.
