I'm a non-traditional student in my senior year currently studying Health and Wellness and definitely going into Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in my graduate studies.

I may be walking the FULL 2011 Flying Pig marathon (26.2 miles) in May, my second endurance event. My first was walking the 2009 Flying Pig half marathon (13.1).

A goal of mine that began after the completion of my first half marathon in May 2009 was to virtually walk and bike across the USA. Progress on walking and cycling across the USA on the Southern route of America's Discovery Trail--virtually:
(beginning 5/3/09): 180.78 miles / 5048 miles total

Yep, I'm walking and deciding where I want to apply for grad school. Prayer and meditation will help me determine where I will go to grad school, what I am to study, and how it will be paid for.

One thing has become clear to me. The more I try to people-please and put on a false facade, the more I feel miserable and engage in self-loathing. This self-loathing is like priming the pump for bad eating behavior. I have an eating disorder that is exacerbated when I am trying to be someone who I am not.

KEY areas that SP helps me: P - Perseverance, U - Understanding, S - Small Steps, H - Having Friends. I want to live 2010 and beyond with PUSH!

I am a non-traditional student studying Health and Wellness. I am challenging myself to walk/bike across the States, because I am a little crazy like that, and love to have something to track BIG like that.
