My goal is to get in shape. I'd like to run a half marathon in Spring 2010. A secondary goal will be to lose 40 pounds. The third goal is to tone up and build muscle to protect my bones.
My main 'program' right now is to eat in a more aware way. I am staying away from sugar, cutting out soda, eating smaller portions, and drinking lots of water. I am working up to running by alternating walking and running and building up to running fulltime.
REWARD SYSTEM 1 month running: yoga mat and/or resistance band 2 months running: runner's stop watch 3 months running: Ipod arm band 4 months running: camel water bottle 5 months running: new workout clothes 6 months running: heavier dumbbells.
