I am a 28 year old actress, singer, artist, director, and writer. I thrive on creativity, but not so much on fitness anymore! Currently I am a working professional in the entertainment industry.

I have struggled with my weight my entire life. I can remember trying to go on diets beginning in the fourth grade. I was always active, played soccer, but I believe now my downfall was my ability to polish of seconds, thirds, and fourths of my mother's delicious pasta.

I topped out in high school at near 200 lbs. I was 5'6" at the time. I lost weight in college instead of gaining, due to the simple fact that I moved from a California suburb to a city without a car. I returned to California to finish college, started a career, ended a career, moved to NYC to pursue my dream (acting) and completed two years at a I am currently 5'8". The lowest weight I have been in my adult life was 150 lbs about two years ago, but a year later I was solidly up to 160ish lbs, and it was all uphill from there.

As I finished school and got into more and more stressful jobs, I have put back on the weight I tried so hard to lose! I am currently inactive, and getting back on track eating wise through the BistroMD Meal Delivery program. I am looking for fitness friends and motivation through this site.

As Mae West said, "Cultivate your Curves - They may be dangerous, but they won't be avoided!"

Progress:
12/28/08- Starting weight 187. Yikes! Highest weight recorded since high school!
1/4/08- 184. Down 3 lbs. Keep it up!

Fitness Minutes: 265

My Goals:
To lose between 45 and 50 lbs, or obtain 20% bodyfat.

To not feel like I've completed an entire cardio workout after climbing the three flights of stairs to my apartment.


My Program:
Diet - Currently on the BistroMD Diet Delivery Program, due to time constraints. I plan to start tapering off into making mostly my own meals when I get to 5-10 lbs away from goal.

Exercise - Getting back slowly. Trying to follow the Shape 21 day plan. Includes cardio and weight training with a lot of variety. Will reassess from there.
