Project: Tighten & Tone
Updated: 23 Jan 12 I've reached many goals - some that I never thought possible - and now I'm currently striving to reach the goal of having just 1 tummy instead of two (upper and lower tummy) and tightening and toning. My goal used to be just a size 14/16 and stop there, well I'm currently a 10/12 (some 14 bottoms) but I want to be a solid size 10/12 that's toned and tightened and by my 27th bday which is July 10th this year. It's already in the bag!!! #morethanaconqueror ...

It's already in the bag!!! #morethanaconqueror **************************************** ********************************** This is more like a journal of my journey to healthy success as I watch my destiny unfold and reveal who God created me to be... Since 2004 I've lost a little over 100 lbs and I still have 60 lbs to go and 3-4 sizes. I used to be a size 26/28 and now I'm a size 14/16. It's not my stopping point, but BY GOD is it a great place to be!!! :) I've struggled with my weight since I was a fetus, BUT just because obesity runs in my genes doesn't mean that I have to live with it. This year will be the year that I finally reach my fitness goal. I don't know how, but I just FEEL it and I SEE it and I TASTE my victory. This year, there is a supernatural amount of discipline that I have and I'm looking at this situation as a lifestyle change, and not a lose weight quick event. Sparks has taught me a LOT and I'm proud to say it. I'm learning more and more every day about myself, what to eat and not to eat, and how what I consume affects my body and the way I relate and react to life. It's amazing to see the transformation before my eyes and sometimes it can seem surreal, but it's not a dream...it's my reality and I'm excited about the end of 2010 and everything in between. I'll be sure to keep you posted in my blogs. ***************************UPDATED ON 3.22.11*********************** What I'm learning in life is that health is a lifelong accomplishment. There are situations, obstacles and things beyond our control that arise and can cause us to backtrack - be it death, separation, new additions to family, or hardship - these are things that can cause us to momentarily fall off track. But the greatest accomplishment to he who falls, is getting back up! I'm happy to say that "I'm back up" and it's a great feeling to know that I'm progressing at the speed of LIFE...lol.

Walk Away The Pounds walk series, 1mile, 3mile and 4 mile jog. I cook and rarely go out to eat but when I do it's usually a "treat" for being POP.
