Sorry it took me so long to get back to, life has been relly busy.
I don't use the provided meal plans either. I am a picking eater too. I use the tracker. When I first started, I didn't change the way I ate, I just put everything I ate into the tracker. After a week, I looked at what I was eating and then figured out where I needed to change. Since I don't like most normal veggies, I made a real effort to find one that I do like and trying preparing things differently.

Hi, saw your comment about not liking a lot of stuff. I'm the same way. Are you using SP's meal planner or using your own? I can't use their meal ideas because I don't care about a lot of the things they list-some of which I've never even heard of! I guess being from the South, we eat differently?
Anyway, I just enter what I eat and go from there. I'm also combining another program called Weigh Down that I did years ago. It's a Bible based program-While I don't agree with all of it, I like the simple concept of eating pretty much what we want as long as we're physically hungry when we eat it and stop when full (my biggest problem!)
I've found my tastes have changed some since starting SP, I actually enjoy some fruits & veggies now and try to get more of them.. And I've stopped drinking colas
which was huge for me. I still have one if I want, but rarely do. Now I prefer green tea.
Sorry for the ramble but for me, trying new things and moderation in all things works best!
