I don't let aches and pains stop me from running because I know what my body can tolerate and what it can't. I played soccer since I was 5, and have pushed through much worse. That being said, there are certain things I don't mess with (knee problems, more than just a "caught" tendon, possible muscle tears, etc.).
It's really just listening to my body and knowing my limit. It just takes time to recognize it. :) 2278 days ago
Hi thanks for the comment, My sis buys gluten free foods, they are coming in more and more. subs Thai noodles for spaghetti noodles, checks labels, they are becoming more abundant as she researches. I have just been eating lean meats, vegies and fruit. Will add carbs after 2 weeks just had to get off my food fest of carbs as I wasn't losing any weight. So it really works when you stick to it. I wouldn't cut it all out forever, just tweaking my food intake to get the numbers on the scale to go down. I've also tried diffent groups and plans but as a shiftworker it is nearly impossible to have another person as a workout buddy, so goin it alone with a few days of catching up with a friend and support here we will reach our goals. Schedule your time for your exercise, blogging and journaling just like you schedule other appts. You are the most important person on the calendar. When you see the words me time on the calendar you will feel just as important as all the other people on your schedule!! Hugs Beth 2281 days ago
I'm so happy to hear that your spirits are high these past few days. Me? not so much.....As you know I gained...I have the seminar on my mind, and the financial issues have kept me in front of the pc instead of outside. But I have gotten out to exercise both days. And I think that is at least keeping me sane. I think the reason for your uplifted spirits are not only the good weather but definitely all the physical activity.
