I wanted to say hi to my friend! My friend, not in SP, had gastric bypass surgery. Just about 7 years later she begun a special diet. She lost alot, and she is now maintaining. A diet really helps with the surgery! Have yourself a great day! 3648 days ago
Thanks for the post on my page. Wow 275 lbs is fantastic!!! I can only imagine what a difference that has made in your body and the way you feel (except for your back problems that you mentioned here).
Both my MIL and my SIL had gastric bypass surgery, but both of them went back to their unhealthy habits and have gained a lot of the weight back. My MIL is closer to her starting weight than my SIL, but MIL was only about 250 beforehand whereas SIL was about 400. MIL is now probably at 220 (after a very short lived low of about 150) and SIL 250 (a very short lived low of about 180). Since my whole idea of bypass surgery was based on what my MIL and SIL had done (up until a few months ago when I found out my cousin had done it too) I had not had a chance to see the surgery being used properly (my cousin used it properly). It is nice to see that you utilized it as a tool, not as a solution. You should be very proud of yourself and the changes that you have made to get where you are.
I woke up this morning to a nice 20 minute walk! Yesterday I walked for two hours. I've been exercising alot. It has helped with my SP program. I planned my meals and my calorie count for the day! I'm looking forward to a good exercising day! What's new with you? E-mail me, if you have time! 3662 days ago
