Hi,
I'm a woman in her late twenties, born and raised in Sweden. I'm trying to get my life in order and pay my body and soul the respect it deserves for putting up with me. =)
My first short term goal is to run 10 kilometers (6,2 miles) in 8 weeks and my long term goal is something called the Swedish classic, the year I turn 30.
The swedish classic is 4 different races you have to complete within a year. The races are: a 30 km (18,6 miles) run, a 3 km (1,9 mile) swim, a 300 km ...

The swedish classic is 4 different races you have to complete within a year. The races are: a 30 km (18,6 miles) run, a 3 km (1,9 mile) swim, a 300 km (186 miles) bikerun and 90 km (56 miles) on skis.
Besides that my biggest passion in life is music. Cos music is food for the soul. =)

emoticon on the successes that you've created for yourself so far. ANY time is a great time to join Sparkpeople. Give yourself a big hug for making this positive choice for yourself. Take your time to explore all the resources available for you here. It can seem overwhelming because there are so many resources to choose from. Two to consider using are the Nutrition and Fitness Trackers. Also, check out Spark Teams under the COMMUNITY Tab. Do searches on your goals, interests, hobbies, whatever. Then join one, two or more Spark teams. You'll enjoy getting to know these folks and giving and getting lots of encouragement along the way. Especially check out the running and challenges Spark Teams. They might be a very good fit for what you're trying to accomplish now. It's all good. Enjoy the journey!

emoticon Welcome to Spark. You have taken an important step on your journey by joining!
I've been a member a little more than two years. I made fantastic progress and lost 100 pounds in the first year BUT I became careless about nutrition and exercise and have gained a lot of the pounds back! I became disgusted with myself and closed my Spark account, but soon realized I NEEDED to be here. I'm back using the nutrition and exercise trackers now - they are so important. The sense of community and the friendships I have made here keep me going!
Explore the site, make your Sparkpage if you havenít, join teams, and make friends. You will find this site an amazing place full of encouragement, inspiration, advice, and support.
