My fitness adventure
Hi! My name is Mary, and I live in Northern California. I've survived physical battery as a child, sexual assault as child and adult, and emotional abuse all my life. As a result of the abuse and horrible family tragedies, I'm extremely overweight and out of shape. I'm trying to fight my way back to health and fitness.

My Goals:
I want to lose the excess weight and regain my strenght and flexibility. And I want to start loving myself, something I've never been able to do.
My Program:
I'm following Weight Watchers and slowly adding walking. I'll build up to strength and harder cardio training as my fitness level and flexibility permit. The ultimate reward (besides walking tours of Ireland) will be Irish step-dance lessons.
Personal Information:
I'm 50+ and I live in the California Wine Country. I have two kids, a disabled son in San Francisco (lives with his Dad) and a little angel-girl in Heaven.
Other Information:
I love football, knitting, movies, and ANYTHING to do with Ireland!
