What Touches Carol's Heart

My intent is to better myself in mind, body, and Spirit by taking better care of myself.

My goal is to use food as nourishment for my body and not for coping with the world. I want to listen to my body and eat from hunger, stopping when I am satiated. Food is a blessing, not a crutch.

I want to remain flexible, healthy and able to live a physical lifestyle, walking, playing with Grandbabes, travelling, and embracing each day.

I want to dance. Please ...

My Goals:
In my efforts to become the healthiest woman I can be in mind, body, and Spirit, I am participating in the 5% Spring Challenge.

I love the woman that I have become, but believe in always striving for more.

My goals are:

~ To stop using latenight snacking as a coping tool
~ To make drinking water a real habit
~ To be soda-free
~ To get rid of this tummy
~ To be rid of heartburn
~ To be more flexible and stronger
~ To develop better sleep patterns
~ To destress my life





My Program:
I CAN DO THIS!!

~ My food program is basically healthy low carb food choices
~ I strive to eat intuitively, eating ONLY when hungry and STOPPING when satisfied
~ The only thing I will put in my mouth after dinner will be fruit and NOTHING after 8 p.m.
~ I will have my water by my side and drink 64 oz a day
~ NO SODA
~ I will exercise 6 times a week: weights and floor exercises,, such as crunches yoga and steps
~ I will wear my pedometer every day and strive for 10,000 plus steps
~ I will go to bed earlier.
~ To destress, I will do things that make me happy, such as my beading, reading, prayer, and dancing!
~ Will jump up in front of the tv and dance in the evenings.







Personal Information:
My husband and I spent our career life in the Air Force.

We are proud parents and grandparents. We have never lost our desire to live life with passion.



Other Information:
I love to make beaded tapestries, crochet, make jewelry, make wire sculpture trees, needlepoint, play golf, Mah Jongg, walk, and , of course, DANCE!!!
