Copied from my 6/23/2010 Blog: ..I realized a few things: 1.) My dedication to working out with purchasing clothes, equipment, and gear. 2.) My level of commitment to this lifestyle change 3.) The overall effect the change has had on me 4.) My want and need to help drive people to succeed. 5.) The positive effect i've seen it have on my family and friends. When i first joined up and for months the spark calendar has told me i could attain my weight loss goal by 11/5....OF course i have scoffed and told the computer more than once YEAH RIGHT! What IF i had setbacks.. WHAT IF i had hurdles i may not be able to overcome... and slowly over the last few months my mentality has been changing.. SETBACKS are ok sometimes.. they help you grow and challenge to you rethink and solve problems from new a different angles.. And YES there will be hurdles in my path... and there is no reason i need to leap over them.. I can choose to walk AROUND them... again..more than one way to leap a hurdle ;) So you're probably all wondering what me decision was??? I reset my weight loss to achieve my end destination of 135 as sparkpeople says i can 11/17/2010.... I made this decision based on faith in myself... I can do this.. ME... I know i've had the support of family and friends and sparkers along the way... but in the end the CHOICE to lift he fork and put junk or healthy food into my mouth has been mine.. the CHOICE to getup early to work out.. has been mine... THE CHOICE ....to pick my own butt up when i am mad and angry and in tears at a scale or tape measure for NOT moving and STILL commit keeping at this every day has been MINE. Could i have done it without this without support of family, friends, and sparkers??? Maybe.... would i have done this well without them this far...probably not... but i can NOW... I can do this.. My goals are... For Fall/winter 2012: 1.) Preseason Iroman Training. 2.) Work on improving form and technique in all 3 triatholon disciplines. 3.) Just have some Fun!

daily: +watch calories + watch the times i eat. +start the day with a good healthy breakfast.
Personal Information:
I am 39, mother to a 18, 7, and 6 year old.. they all keep my going... And where i used to be phyically fit in my youth.. time to exercise gave way to 2 more kids.. now it's back to some me time.. And showing the kids that being healthy is a FAMILY effort..NOT just an individual effort.
Other Information:
I'm finding both my sons are my 2 biggest coaches.. Aidan is the youngest of the 2..he'll go side by side with me when i do my Yoga.. Dave Likes helping me with my weights and ST. He's even asked me more than once: "MOM are you feeling the BURN?" My daughter and i started spark together. it's nice to have someone immediately share this with...
