It's time for me to take care of ME

I am in a point in my life where I am TIRED of having this constant struggle with my weight. My unhappiness with my weight consumes way too much of my time and I am ready to make a permanent change in my life. I know that I am NOT my weight - but I also know that I felt more confident & energetic when I was within a healthy weight range and I am ready to feel that way again. I am in a point in my life where I am TIRED of having this constant struggle with my weight. My unhappiness with my weight consumes way too much of my time and I am ready to make a permanent change in my life. I know that I am NOT my weight - but I also know that I felt more confident & energetic when I was within a healthy weight range and I am ready to feel that way again. I'm determined to feel comfortable in my own skin...my biggest struggle on this journey to a healthy lifestyle is my weakness for sweets combined with my high expectations. I'm a perfectionist in most aspects of my life and I tend to be really hard on myself when I don't meet a goal.


Update 1/15/2014 - my weight has fluctuated 5 +/- pounds since my family's move in October and the 2013 holidays took me over the edge and I gained back 8 lbs. Ive already swiped off four of the those pounds in the last 10 days and hope to get and stay back on track.

Short term goals
*Log onto SP everyday
* Read a new SP article at least 3x per week
*Exercise 5 days a week
*Stay in my calorie range and log EVERYTHING

Longterm Goal
*Weigh 159 by 1/31/14
*Weigh 145 by 05/01/14

My Goals:
*Log onto Sparkpeople daily

* Visit the gym at least 5 days a week

*Aim to get at least 7 hours of sleep a night

*Drink 8 glasses of water everyday

*Jog three miles in 30 minutes by 7/01/13 - GOAL MET in June 2013!

* New goal: Jog three miles in 30 minutes by 2/28/2014




My Program:
*Weight training 2 days a week

*Cardio 5 days a week for at least 50 min

*Stay within my calorie range

* Eat high fiber foods

*Don't deprive myself but eat the things I love in moderation
