Water regulates a healthy body temperature. Which is one reason why we sweat when we get hot.--Our skin glows with proper hydration. water washes medications from the liver. Water fights fatigue and gives us more energy. Without water our body cannot break down triglycerides (visualize lard) into usable forms of energy.
Drinking a sufficient amount of water 8x's a day makes our metabolism burn 3 percent faster. Water empties stubborn fat storage deposits. Water helps to carry fat out of our body. Water gives us a full feeling. Curbing our appetite.
As you can see your body needs a lot more water than what you give it. As I make these life changes to my diet I am quickly learning there is truth to what Socrates said "let food be thy medicine and let medicine be thy food.
