Hello to all Spark People on a mission to a new and better you in 2010

I've always been on the small side and never worried about my weight until five years ago when my son was born. At first, during my breast feeding years, I was looking better and feeling healthier then before I had my son but then… everything slowly went down hill.

I joined this site for the support, motivation and simply to become a healthier person in the New Year. I've always blamed my lack of exercising on the fact that I wanted to be the best mother possible and dedicate all my time to my son but now he's in kindergarten and I have no more excuses left.

I am a 27 year old single professional mother of one rambunctious son and looking to get back into the social life I once knew. I am planning on attending grad school during the fall of 2009 so this year will be especially challenging but I'm up for it.

I've posted pictures of when I was in high school and active, my college years post baby but when my weight was still under control and lastly a picture of me to date.

I'M READY!

I just purchased a Nordick Track ellipctial and I plan to use it 30min each morning M-F.

I will also be starting the NurtiSystem in March so that I can make sure my food intake is monitored.
