Hi! My name is Chaz (screen name LadyChaz). I joined the SparkPeople website on February 22, 2006. I live in the southwest and work a chaotic job as the Education & Events Coordinator for a private, non-profit trade association.
I am 5-ft. 10-in. in height and have not reached my overall goal yet. Since I joined in 2006, I've lost weight, gained weight, and lost weight again, similar to a yo-yo. My life has gone through some MAJOR changes, which contributed to this yo-yo, and a hiatus away from SP from 2008 till 2012. Man, time sure does fly...
The most important thing I've learned as I've been on this journey is to NOT GIVE UP! I can't quit and I can't throw in the towel. These will not be options for me because I've come too far and I know that this is a life-long journey. This site has profoundly changed my life for the better.
My hobbies and interests include singing, belly-dancing, writing, cooking and seasonal decorating of my home.
2012 GOAL: Lose an additional 30 pounds and 10 inches by December 31, 2012.
Find a gym that I enjoy so that I can resume my 30-minute interval circuit training and 30-minutes of cardio at least 2-4 times a week.
I joined Ladies Express Workout on October 22, 2005, and did interval circuit training, however, all of these gyms went out of business in my home town in 2010, so I am currently trying to find a replacement gym.
I signed up on SparkPeople as of February 22, 2006. Just in the couple of years of incorporating the SP plan into my life, I've been focused on what I''m putting into my body and, more importantly, I'm eating healthy yet still enjoy ocassional treats and I'm SEEING and EXPERIENCING results!
I did a hiatus from the SP site in late 2008, and actually gained back weight that I'd lost. In the fall of 2009 I started cooking 90% of my meals at home, and have lost over 40+ pounds just from EATING, no exercise at this point until I find a gym. (2009-2011).

I am so sorry about not writing you, I forget that there are writing this far down on my sparkpage. So I will start looking there for you. So sorry I will make sure that I read the bottom messages.
Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. ours went will. lost of food. Oh boy, it was hard but I did it. I had a piece of pumpkin pie, it was sugar free so I splurged a little. but that was it all the other stuff that I eat was on program. So I did not do to bad.
Now it is back to eatting right again. oh well someone has to do it right. haha
I seam to be at a stand still with my weight loss. I have done really good up to now, but I have noticed that I am adding a little here and there. So it all adds up. So I am going to go back to the way I was eating when I was losing so good. It is hard but I have to do it.
Do you have any recipes that you like and if you do wold you share them with me. I am on a low carb diet because of having sugar. It regulates my sugar when I am on low carbs. and I feel so much better when I am on it.

I am sorry about not writing I have been working so many hours, but now it is being cut down alot because of the time of year, this happens every year at this time.
I hope that you are feeling alot better bu now, but my husband has a cold also, and it is just hanging on forever.
I to will be writing more now because I will have more time.
I went to a party the other day, I do not go to many but anyway a man where I work turned 60 but a young 60 and his wife throw a surprise party so I went. I had a great time, but it was an italian party so they had wine, It was hard not to have some but I know that it would throw my diet off like crazy so I was good. but It was a hard thing not to.
As far as the next 25 lbs. it is getting harder, but I took notice that I was adding a little here and there and that has slowed my losing down but I am still very nuch on it. So I added about 30 carbs. more well I guess I have to cut it back down because this is just to slow now, what do you think that I should do. any help will be welcomed that is for sure. I know that I am not drinking all the water that I should , I just can't get used to it. I hate water, isin't that crazy it does not have a taste so why can't I drink it, but it makes me feel bad if I drink a glass. So I am trying to get my water by drinking alot of tea and coffee, and other drinks that fit my diet.
How are you coming along with yours?

What's up.? I have not hear from you in a while. Hope all is well and the weight is going down. You have done so good in the past. I hope that it continues to drop for you as you go .I am down 66 lbs. so far. and still going strong.
