Time to enjoy life more and live longer!!

I am 50 years old and have over 150 pounds to lose. I am just starting out on this journey and I am looking forward to making life changes regarding food. I have found that as the weight keeps increasing, I am having more difficulties and have actually been avoiding certain situations. I worry if I will be able to "fit" into spaces. I have trouble bending over to pick up things on the floor. I also want to be around to see my high school aged son graduate from high school and college, get ...

I have trouble bending over to pick up things on the floor. I also want to be around to see my high school aged son graduate from high school and college, get married, have kids, etc. You get the idea. I am hoping to find a buddy that together we may help each other through this difficult journey.

My Goals:
Since I am just starting out, my biggest focus is just trying to eat normal amounts of food and not overeat! I was very good at overeating and have been doing that for years! I am an emotional, stress eater. I need to learn how to live with a major food addiction.

Hi Ladybug emoticon
I so know what you mean about the "fitting into spaces" business. I always am looking at the arrangement of chairs and tables in a room and trying to plot a course that won't bump anyone and cause the humiliation of somebody noticing "there's a fat person in the room!" It's nonsense really - since I turned 40 I've been invisible! (Well it feels that way)
Good luck with the journey, you've certainly come to the right place emoticon emoticon
