Third times a charm!

Ok, so I'm doing this again! I am 44 years old. Married for 7 1/2 years. I have one daughter, a stepson and a stepdaughter. My dh turns 50 and I turn 45 this coming year! Although I am healthy overall, we are both morbidly obese (technical term). And we MUST get a handle on our health. Thankfully, he is very open to new recipes and options.

I have recently decided that this is the perfect time for us to concentrate on US! I will not use the term "DIET"! (That IS a four-letter-word!) I am being more aware of my portion sizes, and cutting out the sweet tea! (Yes, I can still be a true southern lady and not drink sweet tea! LOL) I am still drinking tea just unsweet.....

I am going to be honest and admit that I really suck at exercise routines. So I am not going to lie and say that I will try to work out 30 mins a day, 3 times a week. I really want to change my lifestyle and notice the things that I do that cause my weight gain. So, I'm going to commit to being more active and less sedentary. I will spend at least 15 minutes each day outside. I will listen to upbeat music and less tv. I will go fishing with my husband. I will choose to eat more vegetables and less sweets (doing REALLY well on that one so far!). I will smile every day.

Anyway, we can do this. Together we can move mountains.
