I stumbled into here without intending to do something about my weight. "Tomorrow" would do (at least by the old standard New Year). But I'm being drawn in & doing more than I had intended. And that's VERY good!

My Program:
Right now, I am slowly improving what I eat by increasing fruits & vegetables, and avoiding sweets. I have also do cardio and weights.




Personal Information:
I am an original New Yorker living in NM since 1992. Talk about change! I live near my only child, a son, & his family. My grandsons are 9 & 16. I work as a registered nurse. Five days a week, I give people encouragement about their health, and always wanted to have something like that for myself. Now, I've found it!

Other Information:
One of my favorite movies is a real oldie "To Each His Own". It's also my philosophy (except when you mess with kids, or old folks like myself). One of my favorite books is A Tale of Two Cities. My favorite color is blue, but I want to paint a room of my house with a light foam green.

Thanks for the positive comments on my blog. I've got all the positive thoughts running through my head, but I just can't wrap my head around them today. I'm sure things will work out next week...it's just the frustration factor! Your comments were exactly what I needed!
