Hello Ladies, I hope life finds you all in good spirits. I have been away for a while, but, I have not forgotten the spark-buddies I met here. Miss you guys.

Update on me: Restarted my plan 02/01/2010. By working out 3-4 days a week. However struggled with eating. Got serious with eating smaller portions and really paying attention to detail per what I eat. I am currently eating 1200-1350 calories a day. I know for some of you that sounds like, so little food. However trust me this time around I have realized if you eat 1200-1500 cal a day- breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack; while incorporating leafy greens with every lunch and dinner and by using sugar substitute, low salt, sugar free products, diet sodas, green tea, drink half your body weight daily (H2o), take your vitamins (no diet pills), exercise at least 3-X times a week while burning half the calories you eat, Babe you will lose weight. This is what I am currently doing. I loss 8 lbs in one month. I have never in my life loss 8 lbs in one month. When you get hungry those green leafy foods, yogurt, and fruit are great snacks and there are 100s of ways to fix em up so you don't get bored with them. Also the 100 cal snacks are great, but try to find ones that have fiber in them, and a 100 cal snack is just that 100 cal, so lets not eat 2-3 of those little babies. LOL. One of the most important things I've learned this year is if an individual eats X amount of calories they must burn half that. So I have increased my work outs to 4-5 days a week. I walk outside 3 to 4.7 miles, Billy Blanks Taebo- he is a true energizer bunny LOL, Treadmill- walk at 3.0 (kinda slow hope to increase the mph soon) mph run a couple mins and walk the rest, I do that on/off throughout the 30 to 50 mins on the treadmill. When I lose more weight I hope to be able to run for longer periods of time. When I go to the gym I switch from the treadmill-30 and then the stair master for 20mins. I have not introduce weights yet, but I know I need to. However the Taebo really helps to tone up. I can feel and see a difference in my arms already.

At this point of my life and stage in the weight game. I have realized that portion control is the biggest issue for me. I also purchased a dine out book from Jenny Craig. This book is a rude awakening. It gives you the fat/starch/meat/calorie intake that is in the fast food and restaurants we eat at. And let me tell you, babe after reviewing and reading this book it is a true eye opener. MAJORITY of all those places that feed us here in the US is true garbage food. I mean just to much fat, trans-fat and starch to feed a dog! It is absolutely ridiculous!!!! What this book has made me realize is you not only have to watch your calorie intake, but you MUST consider the fat and starch intake as well- all in conjunction with each other when trying to lose and/or maintain weight.

Another thing I've come to realize is on the weekends when you want to go out and hang with family/friends and you end up at a restaurant it is in my (ur) best interest to take a "meal on the go" type of book with you so you can compare foods or simply plan ahead. What I do know is only order foods that are grilled, baked (naked) no bread crumbs, and breading. If I do or you too fall into eating something fried or breaded, I make sure I work out longer and harder before I go out and only eat half of it, I will not even take home left overs anymore.

Be and Stay Encouraged in all that you desire. Just seek ye first the kingdom of heaven. Have faith and a patience. Be careful what you pray for in anger and happiness, God does hear you. Trust me on this one, please...

This is a prediction I hope to accomplish over the new few months. However only in a utopia will I lose the weight exactly as, I have documented here. Especially with the chance of facing the challenges of a plateau! We all know a plateau when a plateau hits your body will not lose any weight. Do to the fact I do not know if this will happen to me, I will guesstimate my weight loss by June 30, 10 to be anywhere between 151 to 159.

Enough for now and ladies, open your heart to seek the love of, God first. His love gives us so much strength and endurance to make it in this world. No man or woman can give this to us. Not now or ever. God showed this to me and I am here to testify it to you. God first, family, and everything else falls into place...
