Recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism and had to change my nutritional intake to keep my carbs down and protein up.
I try to keep my calories between 1,200 - 1,375. Carbs 95-125g. Fat 27 - 47 and Protein 60 - 105.
Born 1950. I've had severe arthritis since my mid-30's and have undergone multiple hand surgeries (joint fusions, replacements, etc.) I also had a triple cervical fusion. Now have hypothyroidism. Old age ... gotta love it.
I've been married since 1981 to a great guy; no children. I have two wonderful cats that are the light of my life. I'm a big fan of cats, and known as the cat lady by friends and family. Over the years I've always had cats that live to a ripe old age and one dog (a Westie) that lived to 16 which was almost unheard of as they usually live only 10-12 years.
I attend a wonderful Church and enjoy my immediate family and friendships.
Happy Tuesday! Thank you a bunch for my tree. I have my house decorated and am putting my tree up tomorrow. I'm anxious to see how Gibbs acts. I'm afraid it will be like your "cats in the tree" blog. I'll just hope for the best!!!!! Have a super week! Hugs, Nancy
hello! Thanks for taking on the leadership role for the team!
I like your challenge for this week. But more than that I love your realistic approach and wit. Have a great day and all the best to you on this week's challenge too.
I am surrounded by yummy home made cookies that my friend lovingly makes once a year. They are worth every single calorie and then some. Now whatta my gonna do 'bout it? Try to get through today without having one, of course. "Never, never, never give up." (Churchill....well, maybe....if I used the proper amount of "never"s, LOL)
