My Goals:
To reach a healthy BMI.
To become fit and stay that way (make exercise a habit).
To see my cheekbones again; to have a waist.

My Program:
Exercise: I try to do aerobics 3 to 5 days a week. Has to be FUN. Dance Praise (a DDR type compter game); downhill skiing; rollerblading; occasionally walking, have added short intervals of jogging.
Resistance exercise at least twice a week--using home equipment and exercises from the spark library. Has made an amazing difference.

Just read your comment about SOS Cuisine (having found it quite by happy accident!) Looks like just the thing I need and it's Canadian too, so I actually CAN use it! Have you used it much?

are you a physician?...my degree was in biology....my first career was in the pharmaceutical industry...i saw on your menu planner post that you put 'thursday pm call' so that's why i ask...

i can only imagine in a being in a health care profession and always telling people what they 'should' be doing to be more healthy and caring for everyone else, that it can be taxing....

i was considering going back to school to get a master's in some nutrition related focus...but i also work and have 2 kiddos--so i keep thinking, when would i go to school...

anyway, thanks for your post on the menu planners team!
