Hello, it's just me.... looking for the BETTER me....

Wow, where do you begin when it comes to making HUGE lifestyle changes? I want to get back into my competition shape of my teens -20ís like everyone else does but its not a realistic goal, right? I donít think so. I was a competitive swimmer for over 10 years and quit in college- BIG mistake. I stopped working my a$$ off and kept eating like I was stil0o training. How long do you think it took to gain the weight??? Not long at all. I did a few fad diets that never really worked and went through ...
Wow, where do you begin when it comes to making HUGE lifestyle changes? I want to get back into my competition shape of my teens -20ís like everyone else does but its not a realistic goal, right? I donít think so. I was a competitive swimmer for over 10 years and quit in college- BIG mistake. I stopped working my a$$ off and kept eating like I was stil0o training. How long do you think it took to gain the weight??? Not long at all. I did a few fad diets that never really worked and went through some very stressful times in my 20s that led to a huge loss but an even more huge gain. I have since gone through a divorce and now am in a healthy relationship but gained a few more pounds. Lost about 20 pounds about 2.5 years ago and have been on the same plateau. I know my problem, portion control, not the best eating habits and allowing excuses getting in my way of working out. I have changed many things. I now run again and have done a few 5Ks last summer and looking to do lots more this year. I also swim again and teach water aerobics but its not enough. I need the guidance and the motivation from people just like meÖ.

I LOVE sports! I love to watch the White Sox, Blackhawks and the Bears. Love to play golf, run, cycle, play with the kids. I enjoy walking my dog, Sammy, and being with my family. I am a foodie and love to cook so always looking fore ways to cook healthy!!
