Time For A Change

I'm Kyrie. I've been wanting to really needing to do this for a long time. Now, I'm finally determined and am actually staying on track.
I wouldn't say I'm unhappy with my body, but I think it could use some improving, and the health benefits would be nice too
I'm mostly looking forward to feeling more energized and being able to try on clothes without them being so awkward (since I'm short as well).

I lost about 11 lbs, then gained back 3 before joining SparkPeople. Since I've joined I am seeing some consistency and find that very encouraging.

My Goals:
I've decid ed to divide up my weight loss goals into increments of 10 lbs.
So far I'm only 1 lbs short of hitting my first goal (starting before SparkPeople).
I'm really looking forward to hitting the 30 lbs and 50 lbs mark.
However, I'm still shooting for about 90 lbs mark. The reason for this is that according to my height that's how much I need to loose to be in the "normal" range according to a bmi calculator.
Once I achieve my goals, I plan to continue my path of a healthy lifestyle in order to maintain my weight and tone my body.

My Program:
I am working on making better food choices and keeping track of what I've eaten and how much.
I'm working on increasing my water intake.
I am also attempting to get in a minimum of three days of exercise a week.

Personal Information:
I'm in my 20s. I live in the Acadiana area and love it. I'm engaged to a wonderful man, who I will marry fall of 2013. I work in the insurance business and love my job.

Other Information:
I love reading, movies, spending time with friends, going out to concerts, and watching tv.

Very interesting blog on healthy fast foods. I copied it the the 400+ team. I rarely cook and usually order out. This would give me options if I plan ahead. Ideally, I'll stand and be able to cook some of the delicious looking recipes we have here at SparkPeople. emoticon
