Hey all, I'm Sarah =)
I am now 24, with quite a bit that I need to lose. I've been overweight my entire life, but luckily I was never bullied because of it. I want to slim down and get healthy now, not only because it would be awesome to have a better body image, but also because I'm frightened of what medical problems may be lurking around the corner because of my obesity.
I'd like to find a fitness buddy that I can go walking/jogging with, and eventually build up to running. I did the Flying Pig Half-Marathon in 2011, walking most of it, but since then, I've taken about 20 steps backwards. Right now, I can't even run a quarter mile all at once :P I live in Northern KY, so anyone near Cincinnati, let me know if you're interested!
About my interests outside of weightloss, I love Japan, anime, Jason Mraz, Tamora Pierce books, Harry Potter, reading, singing, Deathcab, Moulin Rouge, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Clerks 2, Star Wars and Trek, spring time, mentoring children, and purple, as well as tons of other things. My interests are all over the map, though I do admit, many dwell in the realms of the dork =P

My long-term weight goal is to eventually be down to 188 pounds, since that is the upper percentile of my acceptable body fat percentage. After that, we'll see where I want to go from there. Trying a meal plan for the first time to go along with my exercise routine.
