I'm a mother to two beautiful daughters and married to a wonderful husband that I love with all my heart! I love anything to do with health and fitness. That's why I love Spark People! I just recently became a personal trainer last year and have loved every minute of it. Kids make it so much harder to exercise and maintain a clean eat lifestyle, but even though it's harder it's still possible!

I love that I'm teaching my family how to eat healthy and be involved in an active lifestyle. It's so sad to see obese children that eat too much junk and sit around too much to play video games and watch t.v. We need to change this for the sake of our kid's future health. Please get out there and teach your children how to eat healthy and get moving.

My Goals:
Happy New Year! With the new year brings new goals and resolutions. I have already have a lifetime bucket list, but I want to think of my goals for this new year. I ran my first full marathon in the Grand Rapids this past fall and also rode my first 50 mile bike ride in the Apple Cider Century bike ride so those were two big accomplishments for 2008!

2009 New Years Resolutions:

~This year I plan to bike my first 100 miles in the Apple Cider Century bike ride this fall.
~I'm signed to run in the Indy 500 half marathon. I ran it last year in 1:38 so this year I'd like to beat that time and run it in 1:35 but either way I will be happy beating it by even a second.
~Compete in my first triathlon mid-summer
~Complete my Sport Performance Nutrition class through ISSA(Just got my book a few weeks ago)
~Compete in my first figure competition ????? Still up in the air
~Spend more quality time with my husband and girls
~Go camping
~Finish reading "Yo

My Program:
Cardio: 6 days a week.

Resistance: 3 days a week

P90X Ab Ripper X twice a week

Eat Clean! Eat to live, not live to eat!
