Ready to get healthy
I am a mom to a wonderful son, who is almost 7 years old. I teach at the Public School in my small community and absolutely love my job :) I have been plagued with many health problems over the last few years, and have always been told to take some weight off. I don't think I hit 'rock bottom' until I stood on the scale one day and I weighed 301 pounds!!! That was my wake-up call to get busy. I was able to quickly take off over 20 pounds and then hit a road-block, as I was hospitalized again. ...

I teach at the Public School in my small community and absolutely love my job :) I have been plagued with many health problems over the last few years, and have always been told to take some weight off. I don't think I hit 'rock bottom' until I stood on the scale one day and I weighed 301 pounds!!! That was my wake-up call to get busy. I was able to quickly take off over 20 pounds and then hit a road-block, as I was hospitalized again. After that, I let myself go again. Then, I realized that I was about to turn 30 (eeek!!) and wanted to change my lifestyle. Jumping back on the band wagon has been a wonderful and successful experience thus far. I LOVE SP, and find myself feeling better after every visit to the site. I am especially grateful for my favourite team '100 plus club' and the amazingly supportive, friendly gals in the Whitehawks group-you all make my journey that much easier! I am on a great journey right now and loving every minute of it. I WILL NOT quit this time, I can and WILL do this!!!

My Goals:
These are my goals for March and April: 1. drink 8-10 glasses of water a day 2. Check in with SP every day 3. Run/walk 6km a week 4. Attend all my fitness classes (3X per week) 5. Be in the 230's (even if it is 239.9!), which means a weight loss of 13 pounds or more.
Personal Information:
I have been overweight for as long as I can remember. Have also been on 'diets' for as long as I can remember- NOT ONE was successful. I am a teacher with a 6 year old son and find that making time for workouts is hard, especially in the winter. I love walking when the weather is nicer and plan to do alot more of that while I can.
Other Information:
I love reading and catching up with old friends on facebook (I am, admittedly, quite addicted to facebook:))
