I am in need of a lifestyle change to continue to be healthy even after I lose the weight I hope I shed over the next year. I've lost weight in the past, become obsessed with numbers because even at my goal weight I was considered "overweight", which led to not losing weight in a healthy way and gaining it all back. But now I'm older and it's going to be tougher...but I am also wiser and I CAN DO IT!

I work at a college library in CNJ surrounded by young beautiful students and I want to keep being mistaken for one of them! haha. I just need to stop being lazy and care about myself. This seems like the right thing for me...a social network of health conscious individuals supporting one another! I can't stop talking about the site with students and co-workers and friends and family and getting others to join...if not to lose weight to just be healthier!

I will always have curves, that won't change and I don't want them too. I love my T&A. I just want them to be a little more reigned in. I am 5'9" and as far as the number on the scale, I DO NOT want to know. I guess my inspiration is the classic pin-ups and Marilyn of course...she's always been my inspiration...sans the pills and suicide. :/ I'm very much drawn to the Suicide Girl/Punk Pin Up scene but I never felt my body could hack it because my curves are not "tight". But I feel my style will blossom more as I become more confident and use my figure as more of a canvas.
10/10/09 - First Weigh In!


10 lbs: Mani and Pedi
20 lbs: New sweats for Gym
30 lbs: One Hour Massage
40 lbs: Hair Cut and Sushi dinner with family and friends (HALF WAY GOAL!)
50 lbs: New Shoes & One New Dress
60 lbs: Trip to NYC to see Avenue Q & Visit friends
70 lbs: Shopping Spree at NY & Co. and H&M
80 lbs: Go To Greece

Get portion control under hand, commit to cardio every other day, stay POSITIVE.

I am from the beautiful farm country of NJ, but I'm close enough to Philly or NYC if I feel the need for some culture, and I'm close to the gorgeous landscape of rural Pennsylvania as well. I love where I live, and I want to get out more but my confidence is holding me back.
