TEN COMMANDMENT FOR PERMANENT FAT REMOVAL

1. Thou shalt honor and believe in thy self.
2. Thou shalt move thy booty, move it and move it some more.
3. Thou shalt never go hungry again. Eat small meals and healthy snacks daily.
4. Thou shalt stock thy fridge with the right stuff. Fruits and veggies of the earth.
5. Thou shalt honestly write it down. If you bite it you must write it.

8. Thou shalt not deny thyself a treat or two now and then.
9. Thou shalt not eat out of misery, boredom, anxiety... but should thou indulge, forgive thyself.
10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's plate.

True that! :)

Hi! I am 26 years old and about 5'8". I used to be in great shape until my metabolism started slowing and I got a desk job with long hours. I gained about 35 pounds since my "perfect" weight (mostly after a promotion I got in August '07). I have been wanting to shed those extra lbs ever since! I had a summer vacation in Hawaii planned for July so I finally had some good motivation - I wanted to be bikini ready! And I lost 15 lbs before my trip! My goal was to lose 20 pounds before the trip so I lose the healthy 2 pounds/week.. but I didn't workout as much as I wanted to some weeks. Now that I am back and trying to make myself go to the gym more, I am noticing my energy go up even more than it did in the beginning, so it's easier to make it to the gym! I made it to my 20 lb goal and just decided to add another 5 lbs since I feel like I can do it! :) If you have any tips on what worked for you, definitely let me know.. and I would love to share my plan as well! Thanks and happy losing!

My Goals:
Lose at least 20 pounds and keep it off-check so far. Wear a bikini on vacation-check. Eat fruits & veggies every day-check. Work out at least 3 x's / week-check. Feel good about myself-check! YAY! I need some new goals!

My Program:
When I signed up on here I was eating 1200-1550 calories a day, and now that I am maintaining, I can eat 1600-2000 calories a day and it feels great! Some days it is even hard to eat that much since I got in the low cal habit. I am also trying to work out at least 3 x's / week (before I signed up on here, I was working out maybe once a month).

Personal Information:
I am from AZ but live in CA. My hubby and I just bought a house. I want to get in shape before we have kiddos! (We might start trying soon! Ah!)

Other Information:
Never give up!

Thanks for your comment! I'm vegetarian. I know I should add all those things to my meals, but I'm weird :) I do eat yogurt, but not cottage cheese. Nuts and nut butters are delcious, but still scare me off for frequent use because the high calorie content doesn't fill me up. Sigh. But I think I'll have to try it - and I really appreciate the note about protein after workouts! I will definitely have to work on that!
