Sat Nam, everyone! I have no one but myself to blame for my predicament. A new relationship + my long-standing love of cooking/eating = love handles that get in the way during asana practice! The extra weight, though unwelcome, has given me new perspective and compassion for my students who struggle with body image. Losing weight is hard! I'm grateful to my new sparkfriends for their encouragement and to help me stay the course.

My Goals:
1. Slim down to 115 and rid myself of these 'dating pounds' once and for all!
2. Exercise 6x a week;
3. Meditate more frequently;
4. Plan my next professional goal: kundalini yoga teacher training.
5. Join another bellydance group and dance with others 2x a week.

My Program:
Walking and rebounding for cardio; yoga training for strength.

Bellydancing with class and dvds for fun and empowerment.

Personal Information:
Yoga instructor and bellydancer. Just moved to a new town. Have a new job and a new companion and they all sidetracked me! Taking back the initiative and getting back in shape is my goal.

Other Information:
Will shake my coins for food... provided it's healthy!
