Hi I'm Victoria. I'm sure I could list off a variety of reasons why I am here, and you could all relate...bottom line is...I'm sick of being the way that I am and I need to change!! I started the Spark program just before the new year, so I haven't been at this long, but I have already gained so much valuable information! For me, keeping track of what I put in my mouth is key. I had no idea I was consuming so many calories! Now I do and I track everything..and it's working. ...
Hi I'm Victoria. I'm sure I could list off a variety of reasons why I am here, and you could all relate...bottom line is...I'm sick of being the way that I am and I need to change!! I started the Spark program just before the new year, so I haven't been at this long, but I have already gained so much valuable information! For me, keeping track of what I put in my mouth is key. I had no idea I was consuming so many calories! Now I do and I track everything..and it's working. Maybe the biggest key factor for me was to not put a time limit on when I would get to my goal. I know when I would like to reach my goal, but if it doesn't happen that's okay, I won't give up! I drink lots of water all day long and take supplements which have really helped keep me feeling good...body and mind. I got a Polar heart rate monitor (ft60 with gps) on April 1st. Since then, I have been religiously walking 5 times per week, usually 5+ miles each time...and it's workin'!!

My Goals:
short term...to never see the 170's ever again. Long term is to lose 50 pounds or more. To get my body toned and to make better eating and exercise a lifestyle.
My Program:
Smaller portions, keep track of what I'm eating with nutrition tracker. Cut out refined carbs. Drink 8 - 12 glasses of water daily. Walk 5 times a week...5 + miles. I use a Heart rate monitor on my workouts...this has been a big help to keep me on track.
Personal Information:
I'm 46, happily married to the most wonderful man on the planet. We just celebrated 7 years on new years day. I'm a follower of Jesus and consider that to be #1 on my list of priorities. Life is a wonderful journey...and it is my goal to help as many people as I can, however I can...to bring all the praise and glory back to my Father in heaven :)
